To Akademi Hospital by The Ministry of Health
In order to prevent incorrect breastfeeding practices, to protect, encourage and support breastfeeding, the Ministry has been carrying out the "Encouragement of Breastfeeding and Baby-Friendly Hospitals" program in cooperation with UNICEF since 1991. Within the scope of this program, except for standard approaches and special medical conditions on breastfeeding in all health institutions, studies are carried out to ensure that all our babies are fed with breast milk and to disseminate correct practices, and institutions are evaluated in line with these studies and those that are approved receive the title of "Baby Friendly Hospital", which is an international title.
Our hospital was awarded the title of "Baby Friendly Hospital" by the Ministry of Health in 2018.
